PRACTICAL GUIDE

Is your website ready for real inquiries?

A practical review before you spend more on traffic or a redesign.

Keep this checklist handy

Copy this guide into your notes or download a text version to work through.

1. Can a visitor understand the offer?

Open your homepage without scrolling. Can a new visitor identify who you help, what you offer and the next step? Replace vague claims with a concrete service, audience and action.

2. Is the proof specific?

Link to relevant work. Explain your role, what was delivered and the evidence available. Keep intended benefits separate from measured outcomes. Get permission before publishing client material.

3. Does it work on a small screen?

Review the menu, type size, images, buttons and forms on a real phone. Check that no content is cut off and that important actions can be reached without pinching or zooming.

4. Can an inquiry reach the right person?

Submit a test inquiry. Verify the database record, owner access and follow-up process. A success message alone does not prove delivery. Agree who checks new leads and how often.

5. Are the basics maintainable?

Confirm domain ownership, hosting access, source access, backups and who handles updates. Write down renewal dates and recovery steps.

6. What is the first useful change?

Choose one verified bottleneck. Define the change, the person responsible and a way to evaluate it. A clearer offer or a working form may matter more than a full redesign.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Choose one improvement to start with.

Pick the clearest gap in the journey. If you need a second view, a focused diagnostic can review one agreed website or workflow journey.
